The mayor of Qazvin emphasized the necessity of developing clean public transportation

Dr. Mehdi Sabbaghi, Mayor of Qazvin, visited Iran Khodro's booth and two new products of this company, "Solar Bus" and "Solar Van Car".

According to the report of Qazvin Municipality Communications and International Affairs Department, the mayor of Qazvin emphasized the need to pay attention to the modernization of the intra-city transport fleet, use new technology in this area and take advantage of modern knowledge.

Dr. Mehdi Sabbaghi, the mayor of Qazvin, during his visit to Iran Khodro's booth at the International Sustainable City Exhibition, emphasized the need to develop clean public transportation.

Dr. Sabbaghi pointed out that conditions should be provided so that clean transportation can be developed more in the country in order to save the consumption of fossil energy while preserving the environment.

The mayor of Qazvin also emphasized the cooperation between domestic manufacturers and the management of the cities of the country to develop the public transport fleet of the cities.

Qazvin was the location of a former capital of the Persian Empire and contains over 2000 architectural and archeological sites.

Also, considering the proper climate of Qazvin plain, it is one of the most important centers for producing agricultural products, specially grapes and pistachios. In the point of academic center it has to say that the only international university has been established in the city of Qazvin. It is a provincial capital today that has been a cultural center of mass throughout history.
